Does this mean that all the Tivo like devices and Windows Media Center will also be outlawed since it is now possible to record a movie on them and burn it to DVD in full resolution, even in high definition? Sounds like now would be a good time to stop watching movies altogether and let the studios die off. Something better is bound to come out of the ashes that might actually be truly entertaining.
Keep in mind that by definition any broadcast of a movie is "copying" that movie, so even displaying the contents of anything that has ever been put on DVD would be illegal if this amendment passes.
This would also outlaw downloading videos from lawfully purchased discs to your iPod, Zune, PSP, or whatever video player of choice you use. I wonder how many business’ these studios and Intel can put under in one fell swoop?
