My thinking here is if they can’t keep their own accounts safe, they certainly can’t be expected to keep yours safe.  Jason Perlow of ZDNet has created a somewhat useful tutorial for securing your Facebook account while still allowing for some information to be made available to the whole world, useful for those that depend on the web for marketing and such.
